Morphing from an almost ambient and sedate 90bpm to a frenetic and somewhat manic 190bpm in the space of five short minutes, this disorientating monster of a tune from new Warp signing Tim Exile feels like it condenses a lifetime's worth of influence into just one track. Quite whether Exile is the new creative maverick that the tastemakers would have us believe though is another matter entirely. The jury is still out.
